Are there any nearby shops or restaurants?

There are two grocery stores and a filling station with a quickshop within walking distance of the guesthouse as well as two restaurants that feature the local cuisine.

Are there any vegan/vegetarian friendly shops or restaurants nearby?

Vegan and vegetarian meals are available at any of the two restaurants and fresh vegetables can be bought either from the nearby grocery stores or directly from the farm that supplies them just outside of the village.

Are there any ATMs nearby?

An ATM is available at the nearby filling station and it is open between 7AM and 7PM.

What attractions are close by?

There is a variety of attractions around Stampriet. Visitors can relax in the quiet hot springs just 30 km out of Stampriet or enjoy a gamedrive between the dunes at Anib Lodge. Adventurous visitors can also experience a glimpse out of the lives of the native San peoples by walking the Bushmentrail at Into Africa Lodge or Anib Lodge.

Do you have camping spots?

We do not currently have camping facilities but we are working on developing our campsite. Feel free to enquire about the availability of camping spots by using the contact details provided.

Do you have housekeeping services?

Housekeeping services are available on request and will cost R50 per unit per day.

Do guests have dedicated kitchen areas?

Each unit has its own fully equiped kitchen with a microwave, mini-fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as braai (barbeque) facilities.

Are there braai (barbeque) facilities?

Each unit has its own braai area. Indigo Guesthouse also provides firewood to guests.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

Yes, each room has its own air-conditioner to ensure that our guests have somewhere to escape the Namibian heat.

Do the rooms have en suite bathrooms?

Yes, each unit has its own en suite bathroom and shower.

Is there a swimming pool?

Indigo Guesthouse has a small splash pool and guests are welcome to make use of it. Bring plenty of sunscreen.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, we provide free uncapped wifi to all of our guests.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

Our tap water is pumped, via borehole, directly from Stampriet's very own artesian source and is perfectly safe to drink.

Is it safe to walk in town?

Yes, guests can feel perfectly safe while taking a stroll around Stampriet.

Are there any nearby medical facilities?

A doctor will be available in Stampriet from 9AM until 4PM during weekdays and a hospital and doctors are available after hours in the neighboring town of Mariental about 60 km away.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is 2PM and check-out time is at 10AM. Guests are welcome to make other arrangements with management if needed.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at this time.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking is allowed inside the rooms and we request that guests who smoke take other guests into consideration when smoking outside.

Are the premises wheelchair accessible?

Our premises are unfortunately not wheelchair friendly at this time. If you need wheelchair friendly accommodation please feel free to contact us for advise.

Is there dedicated parking?

Yes, we provide shaded parking to all our guests close to their rooms. At this time there is one parking spot available per unit so please notify us beforehand if you are going to arrive with multiple vehicles so that we can arrange to accommodate you.
